Actually, when I tried the main folder, the songs did not load. On the other hand, when I tried the /Music/ folder (which you said NOT to do), the songs seemed to load. The songs are all listed, along with the difficulty level, genre, artist, and file location. In addition, when I tried playing them like that, they worked. (I was surprised by the lack of a high score screen, though; given that this is an O2Jam simulator, I was kind of expecting that. ) On the other hand, I didn't expect that the songs that I hadn't paid for had also worked, which was a nice bonus. (man, Gaussian Blur is HARD!)

Well, you can actually make music notes yourself using a notecharting program. Find a song you like and note it

Yeah, but it won't have key sounds as that requires taking the song apart... unless you can just slice the song and have some other backgrtound sounds that go along with it. (What beatmania DADaDa sort of did. (and not very well I'm afraid.)

O2Jam songs can be gotten in a torrent file. They'll only work offline though I'm afraid.

O2Mania isn't really a game IMO... it's more like a tester for something. Since it has no theme or result screen. One thing that I DO like about it that a LOT of other sims lack is the random colors visual. It's actually a pretty nice effect. It's better than black and cooler than just a background picture.

I don't see whyyou can't put that in other sims.

You download the songs from at actual site. When I say that, I men like....

O2Jam songs you get from O2Jam's site.

DJ Max songs come from their site.

BMS files (beatmania songs) you can find at Shorl0k's page. It's stickied in the beatmania sim thread.

so this is the thread of bad grammer it seems, also dreamcube has 666 posts XD anyways yea i use o2mania sometimes, its main advantage is being able to play the files that you normally have to pay to play in djmax and o2jam

All the note-chart files for DJ Max Portables are practically non-existent (as far as I know.) I have yet to come across a note-chart file exclusive in DJMax Portable (1 or 2) that has been released in a note-chart file playable in any music simulator.
