Simfile PPP Stepmania

Hi all,

I bought a parapara controller to dance PPP with stepmania. I received my controller. I'm searching for simfiles/songs to play PPP with stepmania.

Stepmania 4.0 correctly detect the controller but it seems that i can't use the common songs with the PPP controller.

I don't know if the problem comes from the controller which doesn't works correctly or from the songs, or because i don't do something in stepmania.

So if i could find a file that you are sure of, it'll be great.

Maybe someone sold me a non-working controller :-(

The default files for stepmania are not available from stepmania website :-(

First of all check if the controller works. I don't know how a PPP controller works but if you plug it to the computer windows should think it's a joystick or something so you can check the wether the sensors work or not in the control panel.
If it doesn't work because of Stepmania just downlaod JoytoKey and play using Pump it up support (Because it has the same number of lanes as PPP,doesn't it?) It's not as good but better than nothing.
Also try to get a PPP simfile first. I know they are around the internet because I found them once and with some videos. They were in a website that had stuff about PPP and Para Para in general but unfortunatedly I don't remember it T_T.

Hi,

I think it's an urban legend that there is a site with PPP stuff. Everybody say that there is one, but nobody knows where it is.

Stepmania says that it detected the controller on the usb when i plug it.

But i don't know how to test the Infra-red things.

There were simfiles on stepmania website, but they are not still available, if someone can tell me where to find them, it'll be great.

There was a website that featured PPP simfiles, as SM used to support PPP as a gametype (not sure if it still does). We used to have the simfiles themselves hosted here a while ago (think maybe 4.0/5.0 days) but we no longer support official simfiles.

PPP is still supported, but there are no noteskins for the SM4 version, making the controller support a moot point, kind of.
