Well we now have one to use, the only downside to it.... theres no instructions. This seems to be made in Hong Kong so there is probabaly little to no support on it beacuse there was only one download site that still had this available.
You can download the latest version I could find from here: http://rapidshare.com/files/2306843/ts30b2.rar.html
I am now trying to figure how to use this as well so bear with me while I try to get this to do something. And you can also help get this up and running as well so we can have some sort of simulator that we all have been wanting to see.
Post any accomplishments/bugs/whatever you find.

Used to create *.6ts (TaikoSuite Standard Score Generation) files. These aren't what you use in the simulator and is only the score file.
To create a new score file, go to File > New. From there go to Edit > Score > Add Bars > Before current bar. Fill in the information and then hit OK. You can load a BGM by going to Edit > Background song > Load.
Go to the Test player menu and press Start test to display the score area at the bottom. Use the Available note types window to select the different hit types and click the bars in the New score window. To clear ones you've placed, use Clear in the Available note types menu. Output the file using File > Export > TaikoSuite Time Axis Generator 6 so you can load it up in the emulator.
There are other options available here but I haven't played with them yet. tsdemo.exe - TaikoSuite Demonstrator
Used to autoplay the *.6ta file exported from TaikoSuite Composer. The options are pretty easy to understand so I won't go into those. tssemu.exe - TaikoSuite Simplified Emulator
Same as TaikoSuite Demonstrator except you play it.
Controls:
4/8 - Katsu
R/U - Don
S/D - Bell? recorder.exe - TaikoSuite Recorder
Used to record the *.6ta file and the BGM together. Records as the song is being played. Easy to understand. mix.exe - TaikoSuite Mixer
Same as Taikosuite Recorder except it outputs the file without recording it. Crashed on me so I don't know what the output sounds like. disass.exe - TaikoSuite Disassembler
Reads *.6ts files and displays the information found in that file as hex. I don't think this would be very useful to most people. cvt.exe - Batch Convertor
Converts *.4ts and *.5ts files to *.6ts files so they can be played and edited in the new version of TaikoSuite. asmmngr.exe - TaikoSuite Assemblies Version
Displays the version and name for all of the *.dlls and *.exes included in TaikoSuite. bt.exe - Beat Tools
Used to help find the BPM of songs.
I hope this helps. ...Now I just need to figure out how to rip charts from Taiko...

EDIT: I found out how. Edit > Score > Start Time. To find the start time, place a Don or whatever note wher you want the song to start, and wherever that is, look for the "Time at cursor" thing above the notechart. Thats the number you enter.
EDIT2: Im making a song right now, the first song on my MySpace page. Its gonna be awesome.

Here's 夏祭り (my favorite in the game). http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TM8P99SX

Total Tokens: 2,004.81 Donate Tokens | If you could rip just the Namco Originals from all the games, that would be fine. I hope you have Taiko Portable 2 because KITASAITAMA2000 is one of the coolest songs. If not, you can wait till Taiko 7 for PS2 in December.
Once I get home, I'll post a video of my donchart (I call it donchart because its Taiko) of "ROTTELER'S HOME CARTOON", which looks really cool. | |

Do you have a list of the Namco Originals? I'm not sure of all of them by name. I think I have everything from the first 3 games (or so) so please keep the requests to those games for now.

Here's one Namco Original I can find (the Genji one). http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0CJBOWRK
Edit: Here's another song. I'm not sure of the name but I like it. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QRQC6WI4
