Albumix 2 updates.

For those who have enjoyed the series thus far, Albumix is not dead =P.

I haven't really been working on it much the last month or so due to various school/personal reasons, but I am getting some work done nonetheless.

The doubles pack I wanted to release before Albumix 2.I will probably not be created...unless the person who was also working on it has made some progress. I've only gotten a couple charts done myself, however once there is a good handful (~15) they will be released.

However, I'm going to attempt to start making hard/challenge doubles charts for Albumix 2 songs...if they are not released during the initial release date, they will be added on sometime relatively soon after.

Personally, I'm done doing graphics for simfiles...I'm putting my focus on making these as R21 packs. However, DXM is working on graphics (I believe) and anyone else who is interested just send me an e-mail and I'll gladly accept the help. If graphics are done before the release date for Albumix 2.I (January 9th) I'll release both my usual pack and the R21 packs...otherwise it will just be the R21 pack.

Albumix 2 is very similar in style with the first Albumix series, only difficulties are slightly harder. Not only are the difficulty "densities" higher (i.e. more 9's and a few more 10+'s), but what can be seen in each difficulty ranking has also increased. If people like this next pack, I will continue making the rest of the packs similar...otherwise I'll go back to my original style.

I love your albumix files and my girlfriend does as well. Can't wait for series 2, there was a song in the last batch I can't honestly remember the name but the bpm hit 500 during the song and it got really neat at the middle part of the song (sorry for the vague description) it was in the last pack of Series 1. If you could would you do a few songs in this style completely? I absolutely love that sim ^^!

Well, the hard part would be finding a song that is completely like those sections of Outside World (Club Mix). It wouldn't be hard to do, I don't think, but the hard part is finding a song. Do you know a song off the bat that does that? :P

Anyway, can't wait to see the beginning of Albumix 2. This should be quite fun and challenging. :P

I'm looking forward to downloading some of these files, too! (BTW, if you are using StepMania 4.0 CVS to make these files, please do not include any rolls. It only makes it more annoying to people still using StepMania 3.9 (and there are plenty out there).)
