The final pack for the Albumix series is now out!
Almost all of the graphics are ITG-ish, since DXM was kind enough to help with the great majority of them ^^ (many thanks!). Great way to end off the first part of the Albumix series.
After this pack, I'll be working on an "Albumix 2" series, which is pretty much the same as Albumix. Trying to slowly add some mines and hands, to make it more ITG-ish...and increasing the difficulties a little bit (not only the #'s of 9+ difficulty charts, but also slightly increase the expectations within each category of difficulty. It'll be interesting to see how this turns out. If it's good, I'll keep like this...if not, I'll go back to more traditional styles.
Also, with the release of ITG r21, I will be making future packs designed to be played in the arcades (meaning almost every song will be less than 2 minutes). I will archive all previous Albumix songs that are under 2 minutes as well, and host them up on DDR Geek within the following week or so.
ITG r21 also includes simfiles with doubles difficulties...would people be interested if I tried making doubles packs for previous Albumix songs? I'm thinking that, if so, I'd make a heavy (and maybe a challenge) chart for 20 random songs...no easy or medium difficulty, though...and release them as separate "patches" that can easily overwrite existing .sm files to include the doubles charts. Playing with some doubles steps...and I think I might do this regardless ^^
