Oh, and when I said megapack, I meant to say a new DDR Pack of mine! Too make it easy to understand, let's just say it is a new DDR, but just a song pack for Stepmania instead of the actual CD and Pad. About This will be my 1st request pack on this site. This means that if you want a song on my DDR pack, just mention it in this thread, and I will see if I can make the song, or, you edit the song and give me the download link. Whichever one you want. The song must be less than 2:30 minutes long. Also, if you edit steps that go with the drums, when a guitar solo comes up, do not switch beats. Current Songs: Stepfiles I Made Already: Fascination ~eternal love MAXX mix~
Tsuhsuixamush Accepted Simfiles from Other Users: Saria (mattchase00)

I may submit a file I'm working on, but I don't know right now if it fits all the criteria.

The Link is as follows: 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download Saria.rar
If you need me to make any adjustements, I could easily fix it for you, but I believe this step files follows all your rules.
Lastly its meant to be padable, not for keyboard

Yeah good luck with this, you're gonna need it...unless you end up making all the songs yourself.

Granted, using 24ths and such would be over the top, but if 12ths and 16ths are put in nicely (and in a Heavy/Challenge mode only, and not abused), they can really help a song.
Just some advice. =3 Good luck on finding people for the pack!

Try to ease up on the rules and focus more on things like song length and chart quality. No offense, but I don't think many people will submit if they have to make their sims with so many limitations. And, no offense again, but most packs are doomed unless they have a team of excellent judges with a lot of experience. Its probably best for you to start off by judging a pack with some very experienced judges who have worked on many packs before. Its a VERY stressful and difficult task because it requires a LOT of organization, patience, time, and attention.
That said, good luck! | |

First of all, you're still not ready to start a megapack. The reason we say that is because NONE OF US KNOW HOW GOOD YOU ARE. I don't care if you think you're the best stepper in the world. RELEASE SOME SINGLES AND THEN LET THE COMMUNITY JUDGE.
Second, this pack will be a failure anyways since you not only restrict other people's stepfiles, but you use rules that shouldn't even be applied. I haven't even mentioned your lack of organization and planning either.
Third, you're probably not much of a stepper anyways, looking through past experiences and how you progressed.
More than likely you're going to argue back, trying to tell us you're better than you actually are. DON'T ARGUE AND DO AS EXACTLY AS I HAVE SAID or gtfo.
By the way, as mean as I may be in this post, it's full of detailed constructive criticism, so ya better listen.

stargroup; I am going to take your advice! But I need to ask you something. How do I know when I am ready to make a pack, and how do I know what people to ask when the time comes for me to make one?

Total Tokens: 535.97 Donate Tokens | You'll know you're ready to start packs when your single releases get enough positive feedback for you to be somewhat noteworthy. This doesn't just mean random comments from random users, but more importantly highly respected people in the community.
When that does happen though, you won't have to worry much about who to ask for help because there will already be lots of people supporting you.
So in conclusion what it comes down to are SINGLE RELEASES. Then just let things go from there, and if you're good at stepping you'll get attention soon.
