ONLY make songs that are Oni only if you are working on a different version of the song for this pack that will include Light-Heavy, or if the song you would like to make Oni only has already been stepped in a previous version of DSU.
Whether or not Marathon songs will automatically be allowed to be made Oni only is beyond me. Ben would have to make that call.
Since this pack is going to be on a machine, it would be really nice if we could get as many songs as possible to have Light-Heavy.

BTW, will. Done already. XD

Anyone read the first post? =P
Marathons are Challenge-only acceptable. But probably not if they turn out Keyboardish. XP

I need to buy a 1500 dollar plus transmission, though, so that might take precedence.

Are you talking about the one at FFR database? If so, I didn't like it. Also, my video and audio is a lot better than his. I'll submit it, but the steps won't be exclusive though. Maybe the video though.

This pack is going to be on a machine (like I haven't stated that before). We want to make this pack as DDR-like as possible. The only songs longer than 2 mins 30 secs ever included in an official DDR arcade mix were 4 long, not marathon, songs in DDR 5th mix, and that was a very special occasion.
Simfile packs that go on a machine are on that machine for a reason. You won't be able to kb any of the songs in the pack because there won't even be a keyboard to play on, but dance pads to dance on. I don't think anyone new to the dancing simulation phase would like to play through 100 different marathon songs with only 10 foot Oni charts.
BTW, I didn't even notice what Ben stated on the first post, so either way, he and I are on the same page.
And one more thing. If you're not able, for whatever reason, to complete one of the mandatory charts, there are people that can help you complete your files. It's called a collaboration, where one or more people work together to accomplish one thing, which in this case is simfile making. You can either send Ben the unfinished file, if you really have a problem with finishing the charts to a certain song, or, more preferrably, ask another member to help you with the file. Diversity has always been a key factor in all of our packs, so collabs are more than welcome, especially in this situation.

BTW, I'll try to resend my files with doubles, unless someone is willing to add doubles themselves. If you do so, here are my expectations: - They must be somewhat like my singles files. I like it that way, unless you can make a fun chart yourself.
- Even if you're chart is significantly different than the singles, try to keep the footing difficulty similar to the singles.
- DO NOT include extra charts if the singles does not include them. That goes for Oni only charts as well.
- After you are done, send it back to me so I can judge it. I'll be very forgiving since I have almost no experience with doubles, but that doesn't mean that I can't tell from a horrid file.
- If accepted, I'll put you're name as credits for the doubles.
Songs I stepped and needs doubles: - Ready Steady Go! (FMA OP)
- Tori no Uta (Air OP)
- Motteke! Serafuku (Lucky Star OP)
- Marisa Stole the Precious Thing
- Marisa Stole the Precious Thing (Remix) [Oni only]
- Canon-D
- Rhythm and Police
- Caramelldansen
- Yakankou
- Yakankou (super heavy mix) [Oni only]
- MaxX ResurrexXion
- Survivor Showdown
- Trip Machine Survivor MAX
you're name will put placed beside my sims if you are currently working on it. They will be removed if finished.

| Where did you get that number from? and dont tell me every single DDR song has had every chart before either. Oh did I mention it should be an unlock on the machine to give it that bonus-PIU-almost-feel to it that every arcade game should have? Quote: |

| 3 marathons. no, even if that number went to 6 that isnt more then the 35 we have now or the 250 he wants Quote: |

| 'cept that having 3 pad marathons with one chart wont really hurt anything, isnt mandatory, and they wont all be 10+ footers. that 11 I was talking about looks more like a 9 now, and Moonlight is a 7

I know I have 2 Long songs in my simfile creation pile. I'm not sure if I'll finish one of them, but I'll try.
I know this is going on a machine, so I'm trying my best to keep my sims at 1:50-2:25. XD And I'm trying to work out the steps to be paddable and not extremely hard. X3 Trying, mind you. I don't want people to hate my sims. XD

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I'm just in a 'I don't care what I submit just as long as it's submitted' mood, myself. If it sticks, it sticks. Honestly, I think it'll be a real turnoff regardless for people to do a lot of marathons because it's a lot of work to consistently get something to work right.
Generally, for those that know of me in here, I'm the only one to submit -a- marathon. That's right, one. I may just outdo myself and do -2- this time, but I doubt it. It takes a gigantic amount of work and a frustrating point is finding a song appropriate for the length; I don't want to choose a song that is going to put the user to sleep. If the song is good but not good enough to be a long-ass song or marathon, I'm going to probably end up using Goldwave to cut it; I've done that numerous times on songs (EVERY time when I deal with Aikawa Nanase songs).
Most of my submissions are going to be in the normal line because, frankly, it's less work. Marathons, however, ARE a nice addition, on the other hand, because no one ever does them or if they do they don't do them -right- which is a key word there. Even the ones I've submitted, I have to admit, have their flaws; I want to see if I can do any better this time around.

Send them to Ben (who will in turn send them to me if he agrees so) when you are finished with them with the #selectable tag set to NO or whatever it needs to be if it is only Oni. If you don't do this I'll do it.
That way, they are course exclusives and I can try making a Heavy as well for that use only. Not guranteeing that but courses I can do.
If you want to do such a thing, that is. It won't bother me about what you want to be done.
Also expect Csikos Post (Astroranger Version) soon perhaps.
EDIT: Oh, you can add Set Me Up and Violently Car if you want. Both are already uploaded here in the database.
