| thanks! i made almost all the graphics including the logo and other theme images, although several stepfile graphics were blatantly inspired by older graphics they had (some of the old ones are still there in the stepfile folders). there was actually a huge team of 23 people involved, mostly from japan. we've been working on this game for a WHILE, but development pace picked up during last year.
here are some videos of max3 in action: the songwheel MISSING HEART / NIGHTS IN HEAVEN - DAYS IN HELL EUROBEAT LOVERS / SUNRISE NIPPON WILDSIDE / SUPERSTAR 2 UNLIMITED / THE REAL THING

EDIT: Here we go:
It was in this thread: DDR Freak :: View topic - So... about DDR Max 3

I played a bunch of these sims padded and I really don't like how gimmicky some of them are. Forced turns aren't fun, some rhythms are akward, and some songs are repetitive (like Tranoid).
Graphics are awesome, music choice is stellar, theme is great. Steps on the other hand are hit or miss. | |

Marketplace Rating: 0 | The steps I've played were fun except Asejere, which seemed dreadfully offsync. Might have been an issue with it lagging at that time so I'll have to try it again to see what is up.
Overall though, this is a pretty well-done mix of songs. Obviously I won't like everything (as with every pack) but those that I like I like for a reason. It also has a nice feel to it, as if it were its own DDR mix.
I say this is a good pack with much of a old-school feel. I'll enjoy it as soon as I can play pad at least.
