If nobody's noticed, we're losing some very valuable team members of the DSU series. Hiryuu, Valex, & possibly dida and even me. I don't know why, but I guess I don't feel motivated anymore to keep submitting files to this. \
The first one was truely great. We started with one big dream to change the way people look at simfiles. It was certantly a stretch, but I think we managed to accomplish our goal. Back then, we only had a very small team of simfilers. Ben, Shorty, Olbubba, Kewing, me, and just a couple of others who submitted one or two files created something most simfilers could only dream of: a simfile pack created by a group of loyal artists who got along like cherry pie. However, I'm sad to say that we've completely lost this very important factor. As more and more people joined our group, we began to lose our connection with eachother. Instead of saying, "Your simfile isn't top-notch, but I'm sure as the series comes along, you'll get much better", we went on telling people, "Perfect is quality, but anything less is a waste of my time". As you can see, less than 2/5 of the original crew is still working with this, leaving just Ben and I from DSU1.
What I really am trying to say is, even though I said I was going to submit something to this, I think I'm going to pass. And yes, I keep changing my mind, but this is my final decision. Don't get me wrong, the attitude towards this project isn't the only thing keeping me away from submitting a file to this. It's also the fact that I don't have much time to do anything anymore. If nobody's noticed, I haven't submitted a file to the simfile database (besides my The Game of Love file from BEST-mix) since July, and those simfiles were submitted to DSU3.
I hope you all understand the fact that this group needs to change. I feel we're becoming just like any other simfile pack group. People need to start respecting each other, or this pack, and future releases, are never going to work.
