Opening Remarks:
Less jumps and hands please. They're not funny, and they sure as hell aren't fun. I played your ending credits file among a few others... now I remember why I recognize your name - you're the one who made the unfun Dream Theater files. I'm no a bad player, but these files just seem to be overusing jumps in every possible way... Only played a small few of the files so far, though. Did not leave a good first impression.

I've played about 2/3 of the files. So far my favorites would have to be Dance in the Forest, Doom Castle, and Struggle III. There have only been two or three files that annoyed me too much to play through them. Quote:

Also, if you're to much of a pussy to play things with a lot of layering try Introduction, or Valestine Castle, or We Are Milkcan, or something like that. | |

I really, really do hate elitists.
EDIT: I have deleted this pack from my computer, it is not worth my time.

Did not leave a good first impression. | The kind of files in this pack, odipack2, rfpack etc. are the kinds of files that become fun once you've played spread for like a year. The tastes of this stepmania community (odi branching off of ffr specifically) evolved over the ages as the members improved; they seeked stepfiles both harder and more fulfilling of their song (layering, accuracy, technical etc); simplistic designs won't do once you've mastered them and seek more out of the game. If you play stepmania actively and strive to improve, do this: come back in 6-9 months, try the pack again and see if you like it.
You can ask yourself some questions, if you like; what, right now, do I want in the simfiles I play? If I were, say, twice as good as I am now, what would I prefer to play instead? Would it look like vgmp3/rfpack/etc simfiles or something else?

Marketplace Rating: 0 | also this pack had a lot of index charts unlike some of the newest packs released, so what are you on. almsty's files are indexable, so are macgravel's (note: both are made by index players), and most of the files have index difficulties even i can enjoy. and i never played index.
