Total Tokens: 3,314,356.43 Donate Tokens | VJAMix: Happy Sky - Just Got Splash Feet! This is a repost of the thread from 6.0, since the pack is still available for download Over 300 downloads so far, will you be the next?
VJAMix: Happy Sky is a community stepfile project begun by me over 6 months ago. It went from idea, to stepfiles pack, to more of a fanmix over the course of that time - and it would never have existed without the help and hard work of the VJ Army community. It was a fair bit of effort getting here, but it's nice to have it finally finished.
The final version of VJAMix: Happy Sky that is now available includes:
* 57 pad stepfiles (including unlocks) by 14 different stepfile creators - Xythar, MazriM TaiM, sanchny, Eggman, PkerUNO, Team Ragnarok (D2RCR), TheKnightOfNee, Krazy, BG_Hojo, jammitch!, chickensnack, Juju, Taren (NAUX) and Mistykz.
* Easy, medium and hard charts for all stepfiles. A number of songs also have beginner and/or challenge charts. Difficulties range from 1 to 11 to cater to a wide variety of skill levels.
* A custom-modified Stepmania theme based on A.O.I. by k//eternal (used with permission).
* A variety of courses containing VJAMix songs, including hidden songs.
* Specialised Extra and One More Extra Stage songs for arcade mode.
* 20 unlocks, including both hidden songs and courses.
* Graphics and BG movies for all songs. VJAMix: Happy Sky website
The website contains the blurb you just read as well as the "Downloads" page containing torrents for both the main and movie pack. The main pack contains everything you'll need to play - properly configured Stepmania, songs, the theme, etc. The movie pack is optional and was split from the main pack so as not to force everyone to download a 660 MB torrent - you may download and install it to get background videos for all songs. Do NOT unzip the main pack over your Stepmania installation unless you want to overwrite your profile, settings, and such. Unzip it to a new folder and either run it from there or just copy the songs across.
As always, any help seeding the torrents you are able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
Also on the website are installation instructions, a FAQ, a song list and credits.
Please use this topic for any questions or discussion. If you plan on unlocking the game yourself, you may not want to read any further until you do. If you don't want to unlock it, just turn the unlock system off
All of us at TEAM VJA hope that you enjoy VJAMix: Happy Sky!

These files are not going to be very difficult (or interesting, I suspect) for keyboard SM players since they are pad steps. I would suggest people looking for a keyboard-type challenge to stick to keyboard file packs or, you know, play actual IIDX :P

Congrats you aren't going to get everyone to say this good and you arent going to get everyone to say this is bad.
I don't want to start any trolling, but it's ridiculous that you won't let me express what I feel on the pack.
Anyways, I know it's a pad file pack and I'm being honest: the files are mediocre for pad files.

I can't remember if you did the same on AIJ or not.
Like Xythar said, it's helpful to actually hear specifics of why the files are mediocre, not just blah this sucks. It's obvious that not everyone will like this. There's always people on either side for everything. If everyone thinks it sucks, they should explain why.
I just have trouble understand how there can be so many who seem to enjoy playing these (specifically, the comments I usually hear are from people actually playing this on a pad/stepmania machine) yet there are some who simply toss the whole pack as being shitty.

Total Tokens: 3,314,356.43 Donate Tokens | Yeah. To be honest, I get the impression that if DDR Extreme were released as a free stepfiles pack, people would complain that all the steps were mediocre, or that the songs didn't fit in DDR, or that they were cut up too much.
It's like as soon as you get people to pay for something, they appreciate it. O_o
