Anime Central 2009 Event Schedule

Anime Central 2009 is slowly creeping up on us. All of the last minute arrangements have been worked out and as such, it seems only right to finally announce the bemanistyle/mydjsobad schedule of events. Myself, Malcolm and Nick will be at the con on Thursday setting everything up for our guests for HARDCORE SYNERGY, but in between all of that we will be out and about, so anyone up for hanging out will likely see us around as early as 2pm Thursday. The real events start Friday.
Friday
J-Core Panel presented by mydjsobad.com - 6pm
Located in Hyatt Rosemont Ballroom A
A general information panel about J-Core. From the birth of the genre, to what it encompasses, this panel is meant to be more of an introduction to everyone who's not as in the know. A bit overdue as we've been putting on J-Core shows at ACen since 2007.
One incentive to attending this panel is that we should be (barring any changes in plans) handing out priority tickets for HARDCORE SYNERGY. These tickets will allow everyone who has one to skip the initial line when the party starts at 8pm. There may just be some other surprises related to our business, and some CDs and T-Shirts will be available for sale there as we're not hosting a traditional booth this year.
HARDCORE SYNERGY vs. X-TREME HARD - 8pm
Located at Doubletree Hotel main ballroom
This event really doesn't need much introduction. Our 2nd year running, we have a 10 act lineup running until 4am at the Doubletree, right next to the Hyatt. We still haven't quite worked out the setlist just yet, so show up and be ready for the best hardcore party of 2009.
Saturday
bemanistyle.com panel - 1pm
Located in Hyatt Rosemont Ballroom A
A general Q&A panel. We're actually going to be in attendance this year, and much like every other year we have a panel, expect it to end up completely derailed by community ridiculousness shortly into it. Unfortunately the entire admin staff won't be in attendance this year, but nevertheless we'll still do our best to entertain.
Soapbubble - 10pm
Located in Hyatt Grand Ballroom
We're not quite announcing our plans for the Soapbubble yet, but our presence will be felt. Expect an announcement on Friday at the convention.
We all look forward to seeing any of you who plan to be in attendance this upcoming week in Chicago!

This will be my first year at Acen and this seriously looks AWESOME! I can't wait for Soapbubble and the Hardcore Synergy raves!! I want to buy some CDs, too! I'll have to check out the panel on Friday, I just hope I get to Chicago in time for it!

because it's not a panel? It's a dance/party?
The panel is just called "J-Core Panel". Look at the schedule I posted, it's accurate.

Cool, I've been waiting for a tentative schedule of events from you guys. Extreme sadness on not having a traditional booth this year. Does this mean there won't be a meet and greet session for the performers in the Hardcore Synergy vs X-treme Hard party? I was looking forward to picking up a large quantity of CDs in person from mydjsobad, and it's always a pleasure to personally thank some of my favorite artists. Or could I expect this at the J-Core panel?

I need to write these times on my hand or something. This will be my 3rd year going and both times before I completely forgot about the panels.
