Flipping through Major Nelson's blog, it appears a demo for Activision's upcoming tween/family-targeted Guitar Hero effort, Band Hero, now has a demo up on Xbox LIVE. The demo features three tracks, which are as follows:
Finger Eleven “Paralyzer”
Katrina & The Waves “Walking on Sunshine"
Taylor Swift “Picture to Burn”
The blog indicates the demo will have the party play and "sing along" features implemented, so if you want a taste of the game, here is your chance.
I still don't get it. It's the exact same thing as Guitar Hero, it's just for kids? I want to ask why they didn't just make DLC packs with such content, but this is fucking Activision we are talking about.
Ignoring the ridiculous number of GH games that have come out this year, I haven't genuinely hated a songlist from any of the GH/RB games until this one. I understand that it's not aimed at my demographic, but there are family friendly songs out there that don't completely suck.
Band Hero = Family-targeted Guitar Hero?
Does that mean they'll stop censoring the lyrics in the grown-ups' Guitar Hero?
Does that mean we can actually listen to and play Angel Of Death in said game?
Am I setting my hopes too high? D:
I'M WALKING ON SUNSHINE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAH
I'M WALKING ON SUNSHINE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAH
I'M WALKING ON SUNSHINE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAH
AND DON'T IT FEEL GOOD!
