Beatmania IIDX EMPRESS released!

The home version of beatmania IIDX 16 EMPRESS lands today in Japan! As the final IIDX game for the PlayStation 2, Konami put a lot of effort into making this the best and most enduring collection of IIDX material that they possibly could. Included are two discs: one EMPRESS disc, containing all of the new EMPRESS songs as well as a collection of new songs just for this home release as well as a couple of SIRIUS songs thrown in as well; additionally, also included is a PREMIUM BEST disc that chronicles nearly 100 of IIDX's most popular songs from previous versions, compiled onto one disc. For even further IIDX retrospection, the PREMIUM BEST disc includes an Archives mode, which catalogs over 500 pieces of artwork, graphics, promotional material, and other visual materials from the history of Beatmania IIDX, all viewable in-game.

well, it has officially gone on sale on play-asia.com, but if you buy it now, you have to wait one week for it to ship out T.T good thing I preordered. I'l check my e-mail tomorrow to see if they shipped my copy out.
The next game will be IIDX Portable for PSP (with Sirius' songlist). It will be released in 4 years.

Dude, IIDX failed in america with the US release. In fact they tried to release it here in both the arcade(hiphopmania) and the CS market(beatmania US). Do you really think their gonna make the same mistake by trying again? I think not.
