The location test for beatmaniaIIDX 15 DJ TROOPERS began today in Tokyo, and here it is! The location test songlist, as well as other little bits of information. Watch this post for more information as it makes its way onto the web, updated throughout the evening!
The 5KEYS modifier now uses keys 3-7 instead of 1-5 when playing on the 2P side
The result screen shows the name of the song played
The song select interface has a lot of camoflauge and green, obviously
THE DEEP STRIKERS has 1528 notes on Hyper (rated 11), and is a 12 on Double Hyper. Shounen A is a 12 on SP/DP Hyper but only has 1301 notes on SP Hyper.
Pictures are totally forbidden at this location test, and they'll throw people out of the building who try to take pictures. But you never know. If anything makes its way onto the web, I'll post it here.
I don't see that on there. On the other hand, that would be pretty funny (as would seeing a march on there). At least you always know marches are around 120 BPM. ;)
This didn't even officially come out yet and I'm already excited about it. I'm real curious about the songs from Nekomata Master, AKIRA YAMAOKA, kors k, and the MAD sequence* thing. Hopefully sampling masters MEGA will make a comeback for this one cause I can totally see that happening.

PkerUNO is currently at the Machida location test. Unfortunately, I'm working today and tomorrow, so I have to wait until the weekend to check it out.
BUT! He just texted my phone right now saying this:
"It's alright :) Takao Kageyama and Konami dudes are here watching over to ensure no leaks but I've got about 30 min or so of video and nearly a complete song list with the artists and single difficulties :P"
So expect some good media, FIRST HAND, thanks to the bemanistyle Japan guys :D
Now back to eating my bento, drinking my orange juice, then teaching one more class, all while being incredibly jealous of James :(
It was the same deal when I was at AOU2007 in April. They just have a couple people watching over a massive crowd, and if they catch you, they just ask politely not to take videos or pictures. Then you move to another spot and continue taking pics/vids :D

Dont get me wrong its not that bad but sheesh I didnt even hear of a US release of GOLD
I just had a thought. Since DistorteD CS is getting some original beatmania songs with new 7KEY charts, it would be nice if DJ TROOPERS could have the same treatment. I would like to see Acid Bomb on IIDX.

Bemani games are usually released fairly quickly. Look at Red CS and Happy Sky CS.
Most people think that they're released later because they most likely started on DDR Extreme and had to play that for 4 years with no new release.

I was thinking the same thing earlier! Maybe people like m1dy and sharpnel will appear in the future! Also after some Myspace *pukes* browsing, I found that DJ Chucky is in relation with people such as Ove Naxx and DJ Scotch Egg (awesome breakcore/gabba/8bit artists) If these ever make it to IIDX, I will cry with joy.
haha, yeah, i was thinking of rainrolling you fags. but i'm more excited about this than when i heard about gold, i love this theme and name and everything. hopefully doskoislayer or someone will be able to get decent quality videos soon.

I agree. Especially since the Peoria area (in west-central Illinois, where I go to college) has a HUGE lack of music arcade games (besides the PIU Zero machine downtown).
While I probably won't actually be able to play this game, it still upsets me that Cold Pulse, in motion, SEXYSEXYCHEVY, FUNKTION, More Move, and The end of my spiritually are gonna be gone.

He said that no arcades in his area have IIDX. So he has to resort to BMUS. What's wrong with that? Such hostility. I guess it is true that a notable portion of the IIDX community are jerks.
