DanceDanceRevolution X2 Location Test Announced

Fresh off the heels of their recent United States CS releases, Konami has announced a location test for the Arcade version of DanceDanceRevolution X2. The location test will take place at Tokyo Leisure Land in Akihabara, Tokyo, about five minutes from the Akihabara station on foot. The hours are 10AM to 1AM from November 25th to December 3rd.
And, by the way, when this test was announced, it was the 20th of November Japan time. Just a coincidence?
As always, you can expect bemanistyle to report all the news from the location tests as it comes.
U-san, the Arcade director, also made a post regarding the X2 location test on the DDR FROM STAFF BLOG, which we've translated into English for you here:

Hot logo, puts the US PS2 one to shame.

let's hope it is as big an improvement from X as SN2 was from SN

Hoping the same.
I'm actually really surprised by the logo. Can anyone remember a US CS game based on an AC title that used a different logo than the AC title? Seems very odd.

That doesn't say Round One, that says Tokyo Leisure Land Akihabara #2

Blah, thanks. That's what I get for trying to type this up really fast, haha.

It could be that X2 US CS wasn't meant to be a CS version of this
Remember, it wasn't even going to be called X2 until later in development

and with this there is just too much to think about over the next 5 days.
Maybe the arcade version won't have the traumatizing, breakdancing letters. =P
I wonder if they'll come up with ways to more easily use Shock arrows, like introducing them as single steps. I wouldn't mind seeing that at all, since I've played with them and their timing window is MUCH easier to avoid than ITG mines.

Ah, I know the arcade. It is above the Don Quijote store in Akihabara. From the JR Akiharabara Denki Machi exit, just head right along the main street. There is an escalator all the way up, so it shouldn't be hard to find the thing once you get there. I'll be there myself sometime between Nov 25th and Dec 3rd.

Oops you're right because it's wrong to have an opinion about DDR that isn't positive ok

ps logo doesn't look much better than the US one
but I guess i'm not allowed to say that because it's a negative opinion about the game!

The new logo is cool, but the CS logo is cool too.
The CS version is more kid-styled, hence the friendlier yet still attractive logo, while the AC version seems like it would be more aggressive, hence the bad-ass feel the logo is giving off.
Excited for this, as long as we don't get the crappy downgraded US version again...

I don't play it. I'm free to comment on it though.
