DJ Max Fever Details and Images Galore
Posted by nestlekwik - Wed 08/27 2008 - 01:34 PM - 1214 Views

PM Studios was kind enough to forward the sales information and a load of artwork and preliminary screens for its anticipated DJ Max Fever title, which is looking to bring a DJ Max Portable title domestically to the U.S.

Currently, the sales sheet is confirming a November release for the Sony PSP title developed by Pentavision, and will be filled with more than 50 songs players can tackle in multiple modes. Here is the rundown of features provided so far:

*Hi-resolution widescreen graphics fully optimized to take full advantage of the graphical prowess of the PSP. Create awesome combos and watch the screen flair with life as the animations blend fluidly with your beats.

*New Freestyle and Extreme Modes exclusively created for the PSP. Perform the perfect mix and enter the Freestyle Mode or execute various goals in the Extreme Challenges to become the ultimate Deejay.

*Master the Classic DJ MAX gameplay with over 50 songs and 5 difficulty levels designed for players of all ranges.

*Challenge your Friends in the customizable Network Battle Mode to test each others' skills.

*Collect Music Videos, Soundtracks and Images to create a collection gallery. The points earned in each song can be used to buy hundreds of different items, adding more replay value to the title.

We'll be sure to keep everyone updated on the game, but for now, be sure to check out the screens and support the U.S. debut of DJ Max. After the cut, you'll see a total of 53 pics detailing some of the game's artwork and preliminary screens of the game in action.

This just looks like an American version of DJMAX Portable 2.

That is indeed the base of the game. We'll be getting more information on the title soon, though.

I've already imported DJ Max Portable 2 and played it to death, but it's great to see the game is finally coming stateside. I would actually consider picking this up if there's some exclusive content, but still don't get me wrong Portable 2 has a fantastic soundtrack overall and this game is a must-play if you own a PSP and haven't already.
