Partial DJ Max FEVER Songlist Revealed - (New Song Edit!)

Michael Yum of PM Studios took some time out of his hectic schedule today to forward a list of the 60 total songs that will make up DJ Max FEVER, which, of course, releases next week. Here is a rundown of what you can expect:

Edit: In the comments for this story, Michael Yum has added the following:
"It wouldn't be fun if there weren't any surprises for y'all. Just to let you guys know, that list isn't complete. Yes, Another Day, is in there."
Wonder if the songs from both Portables like Blythe and End of the Moonlight are going to contain both sets of charts, or if they'll just use the version with less charts.
Great songlist overall, I think they really nailed (most of) the best of DJP 1&2 here. They only left out a few favorites that I would have liked to see:
- Another Day
- Brave it Out
- Midnight Blood
- Oblivion ~Rockin' Night Style~
whats the special edition? I dont think there is one lol.
Again, the special edition won't have retailer support. It doesn't seem like you'll be able to buy it, only win it through contests we've been featuring. It is supposed to closely resemble (if not be exactly similar to) the DJ Max Portable 2 Orpheus Package:
"The plan for the limited edition release of Fever is to closely resemble (or possibly be equivalent to) the release of the DJ Max Portable 2 Orpheus Package. Whether this is the black or silver edition or both is yet to be reported, however. For those not in the know, the Orpheus package contained the game, an orpheus box (black or silver), the DJ Max P2 Audio Trinity (3 CDs), a visual artbook, a jigsaw puzzle and a visual postcard set. When we receive more news on the set, we'll be sure to update everyone."
Believe 52. Naver Say should be Never Say or I've completely forgotten those older songlists.
Seriously though, 60 songs... on a portable music game? I've played all the djmax portable titles and I know for a fact that I'll buy this one. A music game that actually hits a near 100% enjoyable factor will make freestyle combo really fun and I feel silly I haven't pre-ordered yet.
Well, they said Fever was going to be sort of a 'Greatest Hits' from the first two and this very much looks like it. How many Black Square songs are on here?

None of the songs in Fever are Black Square exclusive songs.
Regarding Fever, this game certainly won't be missed much by me as I'll pass and stick with Portable 1 and 2 instead. 'Another Day' was the song that made me fall in love with Portable 2 in the first place, and it's a pity that the US players won't get to experience such awesomeness.

I agree with you on that, Loserbait. I'm rather surprised as a new company, PM Studios isn't even going to attempt to make any return on the sets they've already made by selling at least -some-. Oh well. Time to start trolling ebay and shove up a WTB with an exorbitant offer for it, I suppose >_>;.

We're hoping there will be an opportunity for people not at location tests to win LEs through contests. When we first started talking with PM Studios, Michael Yum stated in the interview we did that there would likely be leaderboard tournaments based on Fever from which prizes could be offered. If we can, we'll also attempt to have some sort of random drawing if we can receive LEs to give away.
Wasn't it confirmed that Fever wasn't going to have any of those annoying censors in the International version of Portable (like 2 seconds of censor bleep in Wonder Love)?
Crap, Rock Or Die.......I just heard that song trying to see which version it was & ugh....
Any word on any unlockable songs or are some of the ones listed above going to be locked?
I can't wait, I'm already excited that Your Own Miracle, Lady Made Star, and Starfish on this, and I'm positive that unlocks will probably be other songs from DJ1 and DJM2, or maybe US exclusives, since I only started liking DJ Max like a month ago. This will make me want to get Black Sqaure and DJ Max 2 in the future.
buying for the sake of owning another DJ MAX title and to help out the DJ MAX crew in hopes of them releasing more American versions with actually new stuff on them.

However, Starfish and Hamsin almost make up for it. Besides, I'm just happy that DJ Max is finally coming over to the States. :)
Regarding the songlist, I was hoping for some Technika or Black Square stuff. Some of the individual songs on Technika blow the entirety of this songlist out of the water.

Fever was pushed (at least to my knowledge) as a "Best of Portable 1 and 2" recently noted to include the Black Square engine. The fact they have 60 songs (I'm assuming some of these songs will be locked when you start) is quite a feat even based on the Korean portable standards.
Just noticed that some of the hardest songs from Portable 1 and 2 are on this list like Nightmare and that stupid duck song and I'm hoping we don't see the level 14 charts on this release, I don't think the US market deserves those hard charts on the first version as most people probably will struggle with 6BFX (8B) and the rest of the list might make a "Just 1%" course actually passable for some of us compared to the "Just 1%" of players who are skilled enough to pass it as is. Think anyone who stood a chance at clearing the course got stuck at Rolling on the Duck 8B MX.
But I digress, this songlist could probably have used a few BS or Clazziquai, but as I have said before that this list will flush out some old tunes I haven't heard in a long time. Few of my personal favorites are missing but those were straight Korean lyrics so I could agree why they weren't included.

I am glad, however, that one DJMAX game had over 100 tracks to play though! ^__^ (I currently only have 51 tunes in it. ;_;)
You know, I prefer the stupid duck song over Light House. :P And ... HEY! Light House is actually *not* listed. Awesomesauce!!!
Well, about the difficulty, there sure are a lot of people out there that can do rather well on 8B with a wall of notes raining down on them. I don't know how they do it but they can so I'm sure there will be crazy patterns to accommodate them! Me, I'm just having trouble with getting through a lot of 6B songs nevermind 6BFX. :P
And from the sounds of it, they're keeping the billion Xtreme Challenges from Portable 2 too. :( I am frowning because I am among the few that can't get pass 80% of them.

1) Forgot about that IGN link, I don't even think portable 1 and 2 together had 100 songs since there were several repeats with slightly different sound qualities. That would mean both would probably have a songlist up to a base purchase of RB or GH (don't quote me, I had to unlock songs since my family doesn't play enough RB1 on wii and the # of songs I liked was about 6 or 7 and a few that could grow on me.) DLC was consideration on an interview with BMS

Maybe if they are successful with the DLC they might reach 100 songs and everyone wins (because more songs is always better)
2) Lighthouse wasn't all that bad... still wasn't a favorite but I found it tolerable when I played djmax online (I'm not saying Trilogy since it wasn't trilogy)
3)I think I'm one of those players who can handle the 8B notes raining down causing all frustration when people watch the youtube videos, I didn't get a good acc on them but at least some of them were passing :)
4) Maybe they will keep the ability to do XC on easy like Club Tour on CQ and BS... doubt it but it could happen. Would have a issue on score challenges, oh wait you could probably do fine with the 20% penalty (or was it 30%) compared to Blacksquare's insane challenges. I just did that stupid mission where you play Heart of Witch 4B MX on Max Random... that is almost as bad as just 1% considering how strict the scoring requirement is. Mashing Left is NOT FUN!!!!
EDIT: HAHA I just noticed I said Nightmare was on here and it wasn't, definately not awake when I posted that.

My friend used a unlocking cheat and from what can now see, though there may have been something wrong with the cheat he used, these songs are NOT in the game:
