After pretty much no information coming from GuitarFreaks and DrumMania XG, the newest versions of Konami's popular guitar/drum simulation games that promises upgraded cabs and gameplay, Konami has added a small partial license list on their product pages to keep fans in anticipation for its expected release next month. The license list thus far is:
Many of the licenses (such as Ayumi, Uso, and Sorairo Days) have already appeared in other BEMANI games as covers. At least one song (Trickster) has appeared in another BEMANI game (DDR X) as a master track. Ayumi and Uso were also present on the location test versions of the game.
All in all, both product pages promise a songlist of over 600 songs to play. GFDM XG will be shown off at AOU2010 in less than two weeks with other hotly anticipated BEMANI titles like DanceDanceRevolution X2 and jubeat knit. Meanwhile, you can check out the product pages for GuitarFreaks XG and DrumMania XG to check out some screenshots as well as detailed screens of the new cabs.

600+ songs? Guess they're pretty much reviving everything from V6. I wonder if they've given all of the old songs new charts, or if they're only available in "Classic" mode or whatever. Or both?
That is to say, when beatmania II first came out, a lot of the beatmania songs were the exact same charts, and didn't use the 6 or 7 keys. Interesting to see how this plays out, as I'm sure most of us assumed this would be an entirely new game.

Not sure. They've REALLY been quiet about V7. I think the general thinking is that it will just be XG but using the classic controllers.
