More Details on We Sing (EU), Releases Nov. 20
Posted by nestlekwik - Wed 11/11 2009 - 08:32 AM - 648 Views

We originally reported on Nordic Games' upcoming European release of We Sing for the Nintendo Wii a couple of weeks ago and with the game's launch on the horizon, the company has released an update on the progress of the game and announced the launch of the game's official site.

We Sing will house 30 songs on-disc at the price of £29.99 (roughly $45.06 U.S. at the current exchange) and the full tracklisting is set to include:

Amy Winehouse - Tears Dry On Their Own
Aqua - Barbie Girl
Blondie - One Way Or Another
Charles and Eddie - Would I Lie To You?
Chesney Hawkes - The One And Only
Coldplay - Viva La Vida
Culture Club - Karma Chameleon
Duffy - Mercy Duran Duran Hungry Like The Wolf
Elton John with Kiki Dee - Don't Go Breaking My Heart
James Morrison & Nelly Furtado - Broken Strings
John Denver - Take Me Home, Country Roads
Kaiser Chiefs - I Predict A Riot
Kylie Minogue - Loco-Motion
Lady GaGa - Poker Face
Lily Allen - The Fear
Madness - Our House
Meatloaf - I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)
Moloko - Sing It Back
One Republic Featuring Timbaland - Apologize
Pussycat Dolls - Don't Cha
Roxette - It Must Have Been Love

The Police - Every Breath You Take
Tom Jones - Delilah
UB40 - Red Red Wine

Apparently Nordic Games is relatively confident about the title's performance on the market, noting the title has topped the pre-order charts for the Nintendo Wii at certain key retailers and it is considering fan feedback for songs to include in future iterations of the title. The title will be available on Nov. 20 in Europe, with three packages being made available from Nordic Games - the game is compatible with any Wii Logitech USB microphone, so players that already have such microphones can buy the game on its own, but a two-microphone plus game bundle can be picked up (seemingly at a retail price of $64.99 U.S., which is roughly £43.28 at the moment) and the company is also advertising a two-microphone bundle without the game in order to allow Wii owners to accumulate four microphones for the title's multiplayer.

Right now the title is being limited to Europe, however, the company is seeking avenues in which it can publish its titles outside of the territory. We'll keep an eye on this one to see if it jumps to any other region.

You ever notice how every karokke game chooses the same songs haha

This one on the other hand actually has a "unique" songlist

Why does European developers get the first dibs on making these games. This one will end up like Singstar. Start good then go bad. Support and song content.....Nintendo..for your sake..don't be stupid like sony is. Make some money.
