Mobile phones got a few more music-based titles in the past few days, so if you can't get enough of them in your living room, you can enjoy a few more on the go (if you have the appropriate phone formats, of course).
While DDR S was shown off a while ago on our front page, Konami of America today sent us a fresh press release indicating to us that DanceDanceRevolution S is now available in the U.S. region in the Apple App Store. If you want a preview of what you're getting into with the app, bacon posted a great preview of the Japanese region DDR S about a week ago. In addition to the information provided, Konami indicated the app has 26 songs and 18 characters.
Also, those with handsets running on the open-source Android software can now down load Hands-On Mobile, Inc.'s Guitar Hero World Tour app. The original release of the game for major mobile platforms has already exceeded 500,000 downloads, but the Android format allows for enhanced graphics, use of the accelerometer for Star Power and all songs are in MP3 format and are saved to the phone's SD card to allow for quicker access.
