Andamiro is testing out a new version of Pump It up in Vancouver Washington, called Pump It Up Jump!, a dancing game for kids, as you can see by the design and size of the game. Apparently they have replaced arrows with apples and palm prints and the difficulty is quite easy from the looks of it as well. One thing I am surprised about is that I haven’t heard of a test in Asia of this game where I would have expected to have seen this first. Check out the video below, posted by youtube user Kyrandian573
As noted before, the game is on Location Test in Vancouver, Washington.

It's in Vancouver, WA because it's obviously made by the Pump: Pro team; ex-ITG guys.
WA had the first Pump: Pro beta machines as well.

I think it's an interesting concept and I love how the graphics are bright and of course, kid friendly. And while it doesn't do much for Pump fans in general, I believe it's a good way for Kyle and his team to experiment and try new things. And to be quite honest, if I knew an arcade bought this mix, I would drive there to play it just once (no matter how homo that would be).

It's not like any sane arcade manager would replace a standard machine with this. And, look on the bright side. If the kids have a machine of their own, they'll hopefully stay off of the standard ones, though judging by previous events, we'll end up screwing around on this.

Copypasta time!
Interesting, it seems similar to that DDR Kids and DDR OHA! Station from awhile back.
...Are people actually going to judge this game negatively because it's for kids? Heck, if I was in the targeted age group for this I wouldn't be able to wait.
There's also a plus to this, for those that don't realize it. If the kids have their own machine, IT'LL KEEP THEM OFF OF YOURS!
I see no negative points in this. Good on FIM/Andamiro for reviving this kind of dance game. :)

CEC Entertainment, Inc. probably asked them to make a kids version.
I'm guessing that the main target for this one is Chuck E. Cheese's, after all they seem to love Pump it Up, and since they're a young-child-oriented restaurant/arcade this seems perfect for them

Pump it up JUMP! is now on sale! Its friendly look brings in younger players, and the screen is lowered so that everyone can see the monitor, no matter how tall or short! You can play as the "child molester" panda or his faithful companion, a stupid ugly dolphin.
It features such favorite as "The Wheels on the Bus," "Mary had a Little Lamb," "This old man," and "If you're happy and you know it..."
Also featuring hit folk and children's artist, Kyle Ward.
