This really snuck in under the radar, but after seeing online listings detailing pop'n music Wii is in stock for North America, I was able to confirm with Konami of America that the title is indeed in stores now and available for sale. The suggested retail price of the title in the U.S. is $29.99, which might make the experiment a little easier for dedicated pop'n music players to bare.
We still at this moment have no indication of what songs are being featured in the North American version, but Konami's releases are indicating 40 songs will be included with extras being made available via DLC. If you happened to have picked this one up, make sure you let us know what your thoughts are.
Here's the American songlist. No artist listed means it's a cover.

Currently, the "Extra Content" is either inaccessible or nonexistent, as it gives me a 206710 error.
Seconding "Beatmania US all over again". >_> I think they may want it to fail even more htough, geez. ._. I can't find this ANYWHERE.
Gamestop's suggested that it's a "limited release. Like, maybe just Wal-Mart sells it or something". After they asked me repeatedly if I was sure it released. Boo.
Holy shit i can count the Konami originals on my right hand. This game is gonna blow, I was even gonna go down and grab it but NEVERMIND :<

Holy crap, what a license list. I may consider picking this up.

::looks at the song list, noticing all of the licenses::
Why are they still calling this "Pop'n Music?" "Pop'n Hero" might be more appropriate.

Figures they'd stock up with licenses but I didn't think the initial KO list would be that small. While I'm OK with Konami trying to change up the gameplay and songlist for the American audience, I wasn't wowed with the sensor issues on the Japanese release so this is probably a pass.

Now you're playing this piece of turd with BORING pop licenses. Hooray!
Can someone say poop'n music here?
pop'n music portable will be a far more compelling game than this poop'n music.
