Location testing for the latest arcade music and rhythm game in the BEMANI series has been going on for a few weeks now and I thought I would bring some of the media that has been showing up on YouTube here.
For some reason I didn't think to ask anyone for more pictures of the cabinet when I first started seeing these videos pop up, but I was able to get one. This is the last day of the location test, so this will be all the media for now.
Much thanks to sudocho for the image and to exiteeei for the first person views. Many more videos can be found on YouTube.
edit; I've also found an image of the user manual in Japanese.

the cabinet is so crazy looking haha
also here are translations of the different types of notes listed on the center column of the manual:
Normal object (Black)
Touch these notes in time to the music and they will dissappear.
Normal object (Gold)
Touch these in time with the music and they will be sent back to your opponent. You can change the direction these notes go.
Long object
Touch these in time with the music and keep holding them until the note disappears.
Chain object
Two small objects will fly together and reach the same location on the judgement line within a short time of each other.
2TOP Object
Appears on difficulties of MEDIUM and above. These objects use the two circles that appear above the judgement line. These objects will fly into these circles and you should touch them there in time with the music

I don't understand why they had to go with the ton-ton sounds of Taiko no tatsujin for the entire game. Technika looks and feels much more appealing. Sorry Konami...

*sigh. konami should have taken this money and put it into one of the already established franchises whether that be IIDX or Pop'n. Technika is far superior to this IMO. although this will inevitably have better artists.

Just when I was thinking that this is going to be a shallow gimmick game, I am pretty impressed! This is a very creative game! Definitely an improvement in concept over Jubeat and Technika.
