Once again Jared Rea, writer for The Escapist and longtime friend of bemanistyle, has composed an article on a mainstream news site from the perspective of a seasoned rhythm game fan (definitely a rarity in the world of game publications).
Last weekend he traveled to LA to check out the location tests for DJMAX Technika and has now made his opinions on the title public. He doesn't think much differently about the title than anyone else we've heard from in regards to the title and praises it for it's form, factor and gameplay while delivering a more detailed account of what playing the title so far is like.
While the article is primarily about the arcade title, he does sneak in a few tidbits in regards to possible home ports of the title based on his time speaking to Michael Yum of PM Studios. He'll be posting a full interview with Michael in the next day or so, and we'll be sure to keep everyone posted on it.
