The Tension Builds for AOU 2009 - Bemani Heavily Involved

The annual AOU arcade show in Japan is set to kick off Friday, Feb. 20, and Konami has long since hosted its own AOU page based entirely on Bemani products. I tried my best to translate some of the events and items people can expect from the show, but if anyone else would care to correct or add to the story, don't hesitate to kick out a message.
Of course, Konami will have its line of latest Bemani arcade titles featured at the event, including beatmania IIDX 16 EMPRESS, DanceDanceRevolution X and jubeat, along with early appearances for GuitarFreaksV6 BLAZING and DrumManiaV6 BLAZING as well as pop'n music 17 THE MOVIE.
A number of Bemani artist will be on hand for events, which includes BEMANI RADIO events to be held on Saturday from 10:30-11:00, 12:30-13:00 and 14:30-15:00. Special guests slated to appear include Shallow L.E.D . [Shoccho-], TAG, dj TAKA, DJ Yoshitaka, Des-ROW, TЁЯRA and wac. The translator I used for the parts I couldn't understand make the radio events appear to be an Internet radio event, so we will be sure to update everyone if that is indeed the case. Also, if I understand correctly, toward the end of the event (at 16:30 Saturday), a stage event will be held where BEMANI artists will be giving out a "special present."
Seemingly, competitors from the 2008 Top Ranking tournament will be making an appearance as well [*トップランカー = Top Ranker]:
If you're interested in the possible goodies you can receive from the event, there does appear to be a couple, which have already been introduced. I believe if you play the floor units of the Bemani arcade games, you can possibly be awarded a stamp in the "BEMANI stamp rally." With two stamps, you can qualify to win a BEMANI tumbler (the coffee mug items for I which I posted the picture of in the gallery). I'm not sure if the two stamps enter you into a drawing or if you outright win them, but, again, for those who have a better grasp of Japanese, your assistance is appreciated. Also, five Bemani ring tones exclusive to the event can potentially be snagged for free for attendees of the event:
GuitarFreaksV6/DrumManiaV6 - Sky Opening Version (オープニング曲) [opening song] - Mutsuhiko Izumi
jubeat - mode"S" (モードセレクト時BGM) [mode select menu background music]- Mutsuhiko Izumi
DanceDanceRevolution X - MODE SELECT (モードセレクト時BGM) - Drew K Campbell
beatmaniaIIDX 16 EMPRESS - 不沈艦CANDY (AOU2009 アミューズメント・エ*スポ 先行解禁曲) [AOU2009 Amusement Expo early opening tune] - Risk Junk
pop'n music 17 THE MOVIE - pop'n music 17 THE MOVIE ちょこっと出しメドレーAOU09ver. [choko medley?] - pop'n artists
We'll be keeping an eye on anything that unfolds through the course of the weekend and, again, if anyone has clarifications or additions to what I have posted, by all means, let me know.

Drew Campbell did the menu music for X? Stillwind DID take over the entire sound department :P
"Chokotto Medley" so probably a medley of the KO's in pop'n 17? And I think if you get two stamps, you get a random bemani original tumbler.
Oh, and the artists appearing on the radio show are Asaki, L.E.D . Shoccho, TAG, dj TAKA, DJ Yoshitaka, Des-ROW, TЁЯRA and wac. On the date, the links for the internet radio will appear.

something very note worthy is that there will be an updated version of the North American/European UBeat release at this show.
Why it will be at this show, I have no idea.
It also seems that ASI, the US amusement show, won't even include UBeat as GH:AC and X were the only two games Betson has reported showing. Konami will not have a booth at ASI, contradictory to what they said at the CA loc test and AMOA.

these headline comments would have been pretty dead if those bemani cups weren't posted..
Oh, it's all about the tumblers and you know it.
nevermind the epicness of bemani artists coming together - everyone want cups lol
(although i would love to hear terra and asaki </crack collab>)

I'll be scouring Yahoo!Auctions for any of these mugs, but jubeat or EMPRESS preferred.

The ending surprise was a raffle. First they gave out posters, and the the artists gave out a bunch of stuff of their own. L.E.D. gave out a KOC with his signature on the box, Asaki gave out some sketches (lol wut), Jun gave out some stuffed... thing, and there was some other stuff I don't remember.
