And finally some details on the US version of UBeat roll in. There have been pretty big crowds for this title every since the location test started, even bigger than those for DDRX. This could mean good things for the newest bemani game to step on US soil. Just like with the other thread, keep an eye out for updates.
Scatman John - Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop) The Village People - YMCA Kozo Nakamura - Jumping Boogie Mutsuhiko Izumi - Orpheus In The Underworld Mutsuhiko Izumi - Snow Goose Mutsuhiko Izumi - Polaris Nolans - I'm In The Mood For Dancing Chris Brown feat. T-Pain - Kiss Kiss kors k - Special One ki☆ki - Happy Happy
Other Details
Mix of licenses and covers for the new US songs.
The game has been completely Americanized.
The Marquee says "Working Title" underneath the logo.
Online mode is listed, but not selectable.
has the intro at the beginning, anyone who takes the internet seriously probably shouldn't watch this. Props to TCL for repping old school bemani at this new school event.
After looking through the pictures, it's pretty excellent to see that TCL was on hand to tear shit up.
hahaha hey man, we're all like 5 minutes away, how could we NOT roll in there? :D
Also video incoming soon, and I want to say Darude Advanced (orange) was 8 difficulty, I played that and some other song that's on the JP test youtube videos. I'll try to get some shots of all songs with difficulties after I get out of work (WHICH IS SERIOUSLY DRAGGING RIGHT NOW, JUBEAT TIME HELLO)
EDIT:
Here you go, FIRST AMERICAN FOOTAGE OF JUBEAT TEST LOCATION:

I swear... after getting a few of these memorable licenses for the game, if they passed up the chance to rick roll the music gaming community with a Never Gonna Give You Up secret extra stage or unlock, Konami has failed. Hard.
Oh it should probably be noted that it's a buck per game for at least 2 songs, 3rd is an extra if you pass the 2nd I *think*. Cards are sold for a buck a piece so for $5.00 you get $4.00 of actual play (that's a boomer's thing, whatever happened to tokens? -_-), but it's "rechargeable" so you take a dollar hit to start and that's about it.
There's no token line so we just started putting the cards underneath the marquee as you can see in one of those pictures (mine sticks out with the word "GENO" scribbled on it).
Nice to see they kept Scatman and Mood for Dancing.
And I think the US license selection is better than the Japanese one. Other than Blood on Fire, Sagigate! Midnight (or whatever), and Play The Game, it's fairly unremarkable.

I'm surprised they didn't consider the fact that Polysics has a cult following on the US(not a large one, but one none the less) and left I my me mine in there. I hope it makes it to the final version, mostly because if some bemani gets released stateside it has a chance of coming to the arcade here.

So, they kept Scatman, and put in Take On Me and Sandstorm. This is fantastic.

After playing some more today, we need to unlock some songs. There's only up to 9 on difficulty with an extra "block" of difficulty still there. Is there any known codes or anything?
